Well the last weekend of the race is nearly here, this prompts a few questions like:

• Will we see everyone make it into at least 4 digit miles?
  
• Will Pigassou make it past 15.6 miles?
  
• Can the frog make up those few miles to pip the smiler?

Well we are now into November, the race has less than a month left before the winner is crowned. Time may be short but it's still wide open, anyone could grab victory (OK may be not me or Jamie but you never know .........)

I suspect Smiley Traveller is MIA, he has been in the hands of landyrover since 27 August. He has not been seen since, if you have any further information to his whereabouts let me know ;-(

10k!

Green Frog Compass crosses the 10,000 miles mark, woohoo! Badcall moved him from Oregon in the US to a cache on Victoria Island, Canada. Amazingly, it's only 8 miles from Victoria city centre where we were this time last month on a whalewatching trip. Let the consipracy theories start..... :-)

On the move again!!

Woohoo!!!!!! Sherbert's back in the race after a month sabbatical in Leechpool number 5!! Although I must apologise to my American hero - I did curse him a little when I thought he'd gone to Leechpool & not taken me. The tease didn't log me out of that cache until he logged me into Keebler Nitch!

Blue Frog Compass, last to launch but now catapulted to 1st place!

What's is the black and white magic grid thing for on the picture of the sheep?

This was a question asked recently by one of the travelbugs recent travelling companions, the answer is a barcode. This barcode can be scanned by phones with compatible software and it will direct you this website, very cool in a geeky way :-)

Certainly a number of Nokia devices are capable of doing this, I would imagine others as well. If you want to read more about the mobile code barcodes take a look on the Nokia site here.

Live Stats Fixed!

What do you mean you didnt know they were broken? :-)

The main geocaching website has had a bit of a face lift and this broke the live stats last night, a minor fix this morning and it's all working again.

Green Frog Compass is off on holiday

Green Frog Compass has been picked up from itsallaboutthenumbers by Jennytempest, who is hopefully taking him to California / Hawaii in August :-)

We have lift-off!

Green Frog Compass and Blue Mouse Compass have been launched this lunchtime!

Frog is in "It's All About The Numbers" and Mouse is in "A Different Approach to Recycling".

May they travel far. Further than Jamie's pig anyway ;-)

The Thanet Finders have taken her to Dover where the grass is greener (and a bit saltier). Dolly can almost smell the garlic - don't tell anyone, but there's something about a ram with a gravelly French accent and gauloise hanging loosely from his lips does funny things to her. Je t'aime... moi non plus.

They've both been pick up by the same cacher again, this time it's Sinclair of Rosslyn . At this rate she's gonna beat me by 0.3 miles!!

Fly Sheeps Fly!!

Ovis and Fredator have flown away to Slovakia for a brief visit to (1) Je to v Háji (It is goosed) ( clocking up a fabulous 836.9 and 837.2 miles respectively ) before moving on to (2) nice park in Brussels. Unfortunately they wouldn't fit in here so are on the move again...

Total travelled : Ovis 601.2 miles and Fredator 601.5 miles, damn that 0.3 miles east from 'Readings Flood Plain' to 'Take Courage'.

Ovis and Fredator are grabbed. Both were picked up on Wednesday by a Slovakian meteorologist teoretik so here's hoping for a good first jump for them both.

With Ovis going just slightly further.
